3/24 Tuesday- Duo/Day (dress like a twin or like a famous pair... think Dwight and Jim)

Evening event: Chick-fil-a Profit Share from 5:30-8 (say you're with EHS)

Skate Night at the Easley Skate Center (time will be announced)

3/25 Wednesday- Salad Dressing Day (Caesar dressing=toga... Thousand Island= tropical)- Get creative!

3/26 Thursday- Space Jam

3/27 Friday- Culler Wars (each grade level will hear an announcement about what color to wear)

Evening event: Profit share at Moe's 5-8 (say you're with Easley)

3/28 Saturday- Profit share at Tropical Smoothie all day (say you're with EHS)

We will have a variety of lunch vendors each day. The range of items cost between $1- $8 per vendor. Some of these include: Tropical Smoothie, Taco and Blah Blah Blah, Tropical Grille, Papa John's, Grilled cheese, The Pound Cake Man, and Krispy Kreme.

All money earned during this week will go toward improving the courtyard for student activities and enjoyment at EHS.

Mrs. Serina will have an informational meeting on March 6 at 7:30 a.m. in room 208 for anyone looking to join or continue student council next year.

This meeting will cover the available positions to run for and how to campaign for the position. You will receive deadlines and requirements as well.

We meet every Tuesday and Wednesday right after school until about 4:45 PM. We gather in the Media Center and just hang out and play games; I mean any game. Xbox, PS2, Xbox One, PS4, Sega Geniuses, Wii, Switch, DnD, Card Games, and much, much more. Our first week attendance averaged 45 students. We wold love to have over 100 by the end of the year, so come hang out with us. Don't forget to sign in when you come in. Stay as long as you can, meet new friends, and have a blast.

Thank you, EHS, for supporting the Interact's annual March of Dimes fundraiser. As a school we raised $2895.36 and every penny of that goes towards supporting healthy moms and strong babies.

Our faculty royalty from last year maintains their reign. Congratulations to King Serina and Queen Todd. We truly appreciate your efforts during our March of Dimes campaign.

The March Interact meetings will BOTH BE HELD ON THURSDAY March 5th. One morning meeting and one afternoon meeting. Members, please make arrangements to attend one of those meetings.

The PBC HS B.A.S.S. Tournament Trail held their 4th and final tournament of the 2019/2020 season on Lake Hartwell Saturday February 15, 2020. Easley’s HS and MS teams performed exceptionally well in the standings. The top three Easley finishers were 1. Johnny Allen and Sawyer Redman, 2. Owen Faulkner and Cooper Wilson, 3. Niles Hendrix and Luke Willis. They finished tied for 6th, 32nd and tied for 39th in the overall individual team standings. The HS team finished 5th overall in team standings. The Easley HS School Team Point Champions are Johnny Allan and Sawyer Redman. It was a close point race between the top three team, but they were able to pull ahead at the end with a 13.37 lb. sack on Hartwell giving them a 7-point lead over 2nd place finishers Niles Hendrix and Luke Willis in the final tournament. This year’s team performance has qualified the top three teams to fish in the South Carolina PBC 2-day Classic State Championship qualifier to be held on Lake Wylie April 17 & 18, 2020.

We invite you to come out and cheer the teams on during weight-in which begins at 3:00 PM on Buster Boyd Landing, Lake Wylie, SC 29710.

Although test scores were originally available on line in December, all students who took the Practice SAT (PSAT) in October can stop by guidance to receive a hard copy of their scores as well as their original test booklet. This can be a very useful tool in improving all future standardized test scores!

All second-year students will take the PreACT on Thursday, March 26, 2020. These students will report directly to testing rooms that morning.

Boys and Girls State Applications may be picked up in the guidance office beginning Monday, March 2nd. These will be due back to guidance no later than Friday, March 13th!

This opportunity is only open to rising seniors and all applicants must be available to attend the full week which is June 7 - 13!

Easley High School Cheerleading tryouts will be held April 6-9th. Tryouts are open to any current 6th-11th grader. Forms are due by April 1st. Students must have a physical uploaded to Arbiter Athlete in order to participate. Contact Lauren Hudson with any questions. laurenhudson@pickens.k12.sc.us
