October is here!

Dear CFBISD Families,

As autumn arrives, October brings crisp air, colorful leaves—and new opportunities for growth. In CFBISD, we remain committed to supporting our multilingual learners through high-quality language programs that value Biliteracy and culture.

Each child’s journey is unique, and our goal is to meet students where they are and help them move forward with confidence, skill, and pride. We also recognize that families are vital partners in this work. When parents and caregivers stay informed and engaged, students benefit enormously.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children’s education. Together, we’ll make this season one of confidence, connection, and success!

With appreciation,

Multilingual Department

Fall Tips for Supporting Your Child at Home

  • Read together in both your home language and English.

  • Encourage your child to share about their school day in the language they feel most comfortable with.

  • Celebrate bilingualism — remind your child it’s a strength to speak more than one language.

  • Stay in touch with the school and teachers if you have questions about progress or supports.
