On Writing and Life
This past month, I was listening to Stephen King's memoir, A Memoir of the Craft: On Writing.
I'd like to tell you, specifically you, that just because someone has the advantage of being a loud and large voice in your professional or personal life does not mean they are correct.
With that being said, I did feel his book was more helpful than not. I will take advice from this memoir, but I will also continue to learn and unlearn with others. That's okay. You should want to grow in your professional and personal lives with the advice you'd like to take. Just because someone says, "This is gospel," doesn't mean that it's true.
Do your own research.
Come to your own conclusions.
Be your own person.
Who you are deserves the extra work. 💚.
