GTA6 is Proud to Announce the First of Three Interrelated Field Experiences!
In alignment with and in addition to the social studies curriculum, each year GTA6 students go on 3 exploratory expeditions connected to the Nine Weeks Concept of FOUNDATIONS. Students will investigate the human foundations represented by various and diverse religious and cultural traditions. These experiences are designed to nurture mutual understanding, empathy, interconnectedness, and cultural awareness. As the demands of living in a pluralistic society increase, the value of these trips cannot be underestimated.
On Cultural Anthropology Day 1, students will visit the BAPS Shri Mandir and Chung Mei Temple. While on this field experience and the following field experiences, students will create notes and complete assignments specially designed by the GTA6 Teaching Team to capitalize on this experiential investigation.
