Wilson Creek is striving to add additional physical activity at school. Physical activity can improve brain function, concentration, memory and cognition which has been shown to increase academic performance and achievement.

Wilson Creek invites parents and guardians to attend their child's PE class!

Registration is now open for the 2026–27 Northview Jr. Titans Basketball Tryouts for boys and girls in grades 4–8!

The Northview Jr. Titans Basketball program is focused on helping young athletes develop their basketball skills, confidence, character, teamwork, and love of the game in a positive and competitive environment.

Tryouts will be held September 20 and September 27 from 1:30 PM–3:00 PM at Valor Christian Academy, 4755 Kimball Bridge Rd., Alpharetta, GA 30005.

Families interested in having their athlete try out should scan the QR code on the attached flyer to complete registration. The registration form contains all additional tryout information and required steps.

Please have your athlete bring their own basketball and water to tryouts.

We'd love your help spreading the word! Please feel free to share the flyer with families of 4th–8th grade boys and girls who may be interested.

Please email your child's homeroom teacher to let them know that he/she will attend art club so that the teachers knows to send them to the art room on their assigned day.

Snapology of Alpharetta brings hands-on STEAM learning to children through fun, interactive programs in robotics, engineering, science, animation, and creative building. Using LEGO® bricks, robotics technology, and other engaging materials, students learn by designing, building, experimenting, and solving challenges. Our programs are designed to make learning fun while helping children develop important skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and confidence.

Snapology offers a variety of programs for children of different ages and interests, including after-school enrichment classes, workshops, camps, field trips, family events, and birthday parties. We are excited to be bringing even more hands-on STEAM experiences to the Johns Creek community and look forward to giving local children more opportunities to build, create, explore, and learn through play.

Picture Day information should be coming home with your child this week. All students will have their picture taken on Thursday, September 17th.

The annual Wilson Creek National Anthem Project will take place on Tuesday, September 15 at 8 am at the flagpole. Please encourage your students to wear red, white and blue. Here are the highlights of the event-

• All students and staff sing together at the flagpole
• The Northview High School Marching Band will perform
• Chorus Club will lead and sing a short special song
• The Johns Creek Veterans Association will join us to present the colors
• Our Wilson Creek scouts will lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance

Future Absence Requests:

Please use the form and follow the directions on our website when making a Future Absence Request. The link to this portion of our website is below. Reminder that all Future Absence Requests (both Pre-Approved and Remote Learning) should be made with at least 5 days advance notice so that our staff can adequately review and prepare for the absences being requested.

If your child is going to be absent, please email WCESRESIDENCY@fultonschools.org and provide the following information -

• Child’s first and last name
• Teacher’s name
• All dates of absence
• The legal reason for the absence

Please note that after three consecutive absences, a doctor's note must be emailed to WCESRESIDENCY@fultonschools.org. Please copy your child's homeroom teacher on every communication.

Parents and guardians are required to review and electronically acknowledge the 2026-2027 Fulton County Schools Student Code of Conduct.

To assist families with this process, we have provided a flyer with step-by-step instructions for accessing and acknowledging the Code of Conduct through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, either on a desktop computer or through the Infinite Campus mobile app.

Please complete the acknowledgment as soon as possible to ensure your student's records remain up to date. Refer to the flyer below for detailed guidance.

All students in grades 3-5 will take the Student Success Skills inventory by the end of the week. Student Success Skills are taught to all students in grades K-5 weekly. Please refer to the attached parent packet for more information on the inventory and program.
