Principal's Corner
Hello FamiLEE,
We have made it to the last week of of the semester! We only have 1 whole days and 2 half days before exams begin and it is very important that students attend daily and finish strong. We are busy preparing for next semester and are excited about the great things that lie ahead. We have half days next Tuesday through Friday and students will need to be picked up at 12:20pm each day if they are not walkers or bus riders.
The student body got the opportunity to see the Theatre Magnet production of Into the Woods Jr. this morning! It was an amazing show and we are so proud of our students for being so engaged during the performance and supportive of the cast. We love when our students have the opportunity to see their peers shining on stage! You can see Into the Woods Jr. tomorrow at 2pm and 7pm in the theatre. We have a Creative Writing Magnet Readers' Theatre and a Vocal Recital next week. Please come out to support our very talented students.
Please send excuse notes to LHS.Attendance@hsv-k12.org. We are working hard to meet our goal of a 95% attendance rate. Please help us with this effort. We need to get back up to 95%.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Kitrise Torain
LHS Principal
