A Message from the Principal

Fall is here! Give me all the pumpkins, lattes, candles and hoodies! I hope you and your families are enjoying all that fall brings.

I want to thank all of our Hunter staff, students and families for your flexibility, communication and kindness throughout September. Thank you for working together in the parking lot at arrival and dismissal. We are very pleased with the system we have in place including the safety it provides our students.

Thank you for your doing the health screener with your children every morning. Thank you for keeping them home if they are not feeling 100%. Thank you for your kindness and understanding on the phone if you get a call from the office that your child reports they aren't feeling well. It truly takes everyone to keep us in school, face-to-face, and I couldn't ask anymore from everyone in the Hunter community.

Thank you for your patience on remote Wednesday. Technology doesn't always hold up its end of the bargain, but again, everyone has shown great empathy in every situation.

I truly appreciate the teamwork taking place for the benefit of our students.

My Best,

Jenna Mullins

Picture Day

Hunter Elementary picture day is on October 8th. Lifetouch is working hard to ensure safety and cleaning measures are in place so that we can make sure everyone gets this memory!

Parent Teacher Conferences

Our fall parent teacher conferences will take place the week of October 12th. Classroom teachers will send out links to sign up for a conference time. All of our conferences this fall will take place via Zoom session.

Please be on the look out for information from your child's teacher.

Parking Lot: Please pull all the way forward

Many thanks to all of our families for supporting our parking lot procedures during arrival and dismissal. One small favor we ask is that you pull all the way forward when you get to the front of the building. Even if you see your student, please continue to pull forward. We will fill up our front section with cars, then load or unload. When each car pulls all the way forward we can load/unload more cars at once. I appreciate you!
