Using Magic School
Use the 60+ Tools.
- There's a search bar to help you pick the "right" tool since there are so many to choose from.
- Edit directly in the AI generated content, create a copy of the finished product when you're happy with it, or tweak it more by clicking "Edit Prompt."
- Click "See the Exemplar" if you want to see an example of how a tool is used to create a high-quality product. (top of the content generator)
- Your intial AI product will be only as good as the material and content you provide it. The input conent is what is called a "Prompt."
- The information you give the generative AI is of the utmost importance because unlike the human experience, AI does not have previous experience to draw upon. That is why giving a strong prompt is so essential to a good final product.
- Most tools will ask for many or all of the following:
- Intended Grade Level
- Topic, Standard or Objective
- Desired Criteria
- Quantity/ Length of Text, Time or Output
Evaluate the content with a critical eye.
- Never consider the task done just because AI has produced a suggested product.
- Sometimes you may need to give additional information to get closer to your desired outcome. That is easily possible using "Edit Prompt" on the top right of the AI-generated information.
- There are more resources below to help to better understand and create AI prompts.
Avoid using specific and personal student data like full names and addresses.
- Magic School was designed to eliminate personal references, but mistakes can still happen.
