Dean Tip of the Week
Notes From The Nurse:
Welcome to influenza season!
The flu reports of this year have increased significantly.
Please be aware of the APS rules for children being in school:
- Children must be free of fever, vomiting, and/or diarrhea for 24-hours without medication to attend school.
- Please do not give your children medication for temperature control prior to coming to school. If they need medicine to feel better they should stay home until they are fever free for 24 hours without medication.
- Lastly, children cannot have medication with them (pockets, backpacks); all medication must be in the clinic.

Second Semester Specials Rotation Change
Hello Quest Families,
Your amazing Specialist teachers wanted to have more contact time with our K-5 students, so for second semster, we are changing from a 2-week rotation to a 1-week rotation between Specials classes. This move allows teachers to see students more frequently and balances out the amount of instructional days that students have for each of their Specials. We will begin the new rotation schedule when we return on January 6, 2026.
Dates To Look Out For:
Jan 13 โ PTA meeting 6-7
Winter Fest
A huge thank you to all of our volunteers that made Winter Fest a success as well
as the families that made donations to our silent auction. Also a BIG thank you to
our families that attended! Through the silent auction, we raised over $2,000 and
are elated to plug that into our budget. We would love feedback to leave notes
for the next board on how to make it a bigger success next year. Please let us
know what you loved, liked, could do without, or would be helpful to have.

From The Board
We have been overjoyed to see the way our Quest Community has grown and
continues to blossom through the support of The PTA and the events and
requests we have put out this first semester. We hope that you and your family
have a wonderful break and can dive into the things that bring you joy this
season. We will be meeting over the break to map out and plan the remainder of
the school year and hope to see you at our first meeting of the year. The second
half of the year will bring field trips, teacher appreciation, field day, immersion
and much more. We look forward to a much-needed break and figuring out how
to make the most of our last months as your board. From our families, to yours,
Happy Holidays!
Cheers & Joy to You and Yours,
Dre, Scott, Angelica, Susan

Activities & Athletics Update
After-School Activities Student Safety
We want to remind you of an important campus safety and supervision requirement regarding after-school activities. Students who are participating in Boys and Girls Club, after-school clubs, practices, rehearsals, or other school-sponsored activities are required to remain on campus for the duration of the activity. Students may not leave campus to go to nearby restaurants, stores, or other local establishments to purchase food or snacks, even with parent permission, and then return to the Quest campus.
This policy is in place to ensure student safety, maintain appropriate supervision, and support clear accountability for all students participating in after-school activities. We encourage families to plan ahead by having students bring snacks from home or make use of any approved on-campus options available before or after their activities. Thank you for your understanding and partnership in helping us keep our students safe and focused during after-school programs.

Thank You to all the families and staff members who contributed to our schoolโs Food Pantry. Together, as a community, we are setting a powerful example of what "Caring & Sharing" truly means. My gratitude for your kindness and support to those in need is immense. Many of their stories are heart-wrenching, and I believe we are making a positive impact by ensuring they have food on the table during the Holidays and beyond.
