SHINE ON!

It sure feels like Fall!! We enjoyed lessons on Fall and pumpkins this week!

GBP and LCPS are closed for what have dubbed "Fall Break" October 31-November 4, 2025. Classes resume November 5th.

Scholastic Book orders are due today (I probably won't run the order until tomorrow or Sunday, wink wink). Use the SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB button below to order.

In Music, we practiced tempo with "Pass the Pumpkin" and Laurie Berkner's "I Picked One Pumpkin". In Chapel, we met baby Moses and discussed the people God puts in our lives to keep us safe. Miriam watched over baby Moses just like our big people, caregivers and teachers watch over us. God has big things in store for Moses!

Picture proofs and ordering instructions were email to you directly from Second Ave Photography. Let me know if you did not receive an email from Blaire/Second Ave (please check your SPAM/Junk folder first).

Halloween at GBP is Wednesday and Thursday, October 29th and 30th (October 29th: MW 2s, MWF 3s and Bees, October 30th: T/TH 2s, T/TH 3s and Owls). Students are invited to wear (preschool appropriate) Halloween costumes on their Halloween day. We ask that any accessories be left at home. Please drop students off in their classrooms as usual and head up to the Sanctuary. We will head up with the students for a Halloween parade at 9:15am.

After the parade, our Owls/Bees will trick-or-treat in the Town Office foyer. Our 2s and 3s will trick-or-treat inside the building. Teachers will send out class specific updates.

October/November Lunch Bunch and Enrichment links are posted below.

Calling all Vendors/Local artisans: GBP 's annual Vendor Fair is November 12th and 13th in Asbury Hall (meeting hall above the preschool). See flyer below for Vendor Application!

We have a couple openings in our 3s and 4s classes. If you know of you anyone looking for a preschool family, send them our way! We also have a couple openings in our Friday Enrichment class. Friday Frogs is open to current Bees and Owls (4s) and T/TH 3s. The class meets every Friday from 9am-12pm and is STEM based. Contact Ms. Heather to sign up or for more information.

Please remember to pull up as far as possible on Wirt Street during drop off and pick up. Also, please do not block the driveway to the left of the Wirt Street doors, we do not own that property. Lastly, please remember (and share with anyone else who may pick up your children): our Owls and Bees are in their classrooms until Noon. If you arrive before noon to pick up your Owls/Bees/siblings, please remain in your vehicle so you can pull up when other parents leave.

-2s and 3s pick up: 11:50am-12pm

-4s and siblings pick up: 12-12:15pm
