🍎 Principal's Corner
Dear ACS Families,
We had another great week! Everyone is starting to fall into routines and from what I have saw students are doing a great job of following the classroom expectations that the staff has spent the last couple weeks putting into place. Going into classrooms and seeing the great things that are happening has been such a joy.
Enjoy your weekend!

Why Attendance Matters
NWEA and Beginning of the Year Testing
This week we have begun our beginning of the year testing.
Kindergarten and 1st grade will take reading and math
Second grade will take reading, math, and language arts
3-12 will take reading, math, language arts and science
Students will also be doing reading and math fluency tests to help us see where our students are so we can use the data to guide our instruction moving forward.
Classroom teachers will send out more information, but it is important that the students are well rested when they come to school on testing days so they can give their best effort!
Preschool Registration
Do you or someone you know have a 3 or 4 year old who is ready for preschool? If so check out the flyer below with details for our Ashley Preschool Program.
Visitor Entrance Policy
For the safety of our students and staff please remember that Door 3 is our designated visitor entrance.
All visitors should:
- Park in the circle lot
- Enter through Door 3
- Sign in and receive a visitor badge
Thank you for helping us keep our school safe!

Tickets for Success
As a way to promote positive behavior and as an incentive for students to follow school expectations, students can earn Bear Paw Tickets. Once they have received a ticket, students can place them into a drawing. Each Monday there will be an elementary, middle and high school drawing. Winners will be able to select a prize from the prize box. This year we made the tickets to look like boarding passes to match our homecoming theme of Around the World
