Second Semester Staff Pool List Opens Soon Second Semester Staff Pool List Opens Soon

Mark Your Calendar for October 26 through November 25 to Edit Your Staff Pool

The Staff Pool List opens for editing on Monday, October 26th and will close on Wednesday, November 25th.

Be sure to check your current Staff Pool list, in collaboration with Human Resources, to ensure that all staff are currently employed and vacate staff who have left your district or academy. You can easily share your Staff Pool List spreadsheet by logging into the Public Consulting Group (PCG) web site and follow the clicks outlined below.

2. Click the down arrow of Export Options, then click Export

You will now have a copy of your current Staff Pool list that you can save as an Excel file and filter or sort for sharing.

When you add staff to your Staff Pool List, please verify their licensure or certification on the State of Michigan web sites. During recent audits, staff have been placed under incorrect licensures, which could result in a finding if not caught before certifying your Staff Pool. You can keep track of staff licensure/certifications by adding a column entitled Credential and a second column entitled Expiration Date, to the spreadsheet you just downloaded, which will help in verifying staff are being placed in the correct Job Category.

For Direct Service Staff, check their licensure on the Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) site by clicking this link or copying it into your browser:

For Targeted Case Management, check their certification on the Michigan Online Educator Certification System (MOECS) by clicking this link or copying in into your browser:

Before Creating a New Position, Review Your Vacancies and Fill These First

Vacancies are placeholders for positions that your district or academy is actively searching to hire and plans on filling before the end of the semester. When adding staff to your Staff Pool List, make sure to review any existing vacant positions you currently have and fill the vacancy before adding a new position.

Please remember that a Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) can be assigned to vacant positions and these moments do not reflect working time. Reducing vacancy moments increases the chance the RMTS captures reimbursable activities from participants on your Staff Pool List. We advise that unless you are certain the vacancy will be filled within the semester, please consider deleting the vacant position from your Staff Pool List.

Congratulations to All Staff Pool Participants who Submitted Their Survey within 48-Hours

Congratulations to the Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) participants who submitted their survey responses within the required 48-hours, or two scheduled school days, during the April through June 2026 quarter!

Staff with x2, x3 and one staff member in the county with x4 after their name, received and responded to two, three, or four individually assigned surveys during the quarter.

Please share this information with your team, building administration and your superintendent. Let everyone know that these participants are now on the RMTS Honor Roll and that their diligence and attention to submitting their survey on time is greatly appreciated and has a positive, direct impact on your district or academy's Medicaid reimbursement funding.
