Dear Stone Avenue Families,

Welcome to a new school year! We are so excited for all that this year has in store for our students and families. As we begin September, we want to take a moment to thank you for being such an important part of our Stone Avenue Dolphin family.

📚 Literacy & Math Night — September 17

We hope you can join us on Thursday, September 17 at 5:00 PM for our Literacy & Math Night with a STEAM twist! Families will have the opportunity to participate in fun, hands-on activities that support learning in literacy, math, and STEAM.

Bring the whole family! We will have fun activities, raffles, and gifts for families. We can't wait to see you there!

☕ Connect With Us

We will also be hosting Coffee with the Principals on Wednesday, September 9th at 8:00 AM. This gathering is a great opportunity to meet, ask questions, share ideas, and connect with other Stone Avenue families. We truly value your voice and partnership.

We are also always looking for families who would like to volunteer and get involved with our school. There are many ways to participate, and we would love to have you join us!

💙 Thank You for Your Partnership!

We are incredibly grateful for the ways our families have supported us already this school year. Your partnership helps make our school a safe, welcoming, and successful place for all of our students.

Thank you for helping us keep drop-off running smoothly and safely by pulling forward to the front of the loop whenever possible. This allows us to fit more cars in the loop and helps keep traffic moving.

We also appreciate your help with our school routines, including not dropping off fast food, lunches, or drinks during the school day. We know mornings can be busy, and we truly appreciate your help in keeping our routines consistent and supporting student safety.

And a huge thank you for supporting our Step It Up fundraiser! We are almost at our goal, and we are so grateful for everyone who has participated and supported our students. Our goal is to raise $35 per student, and every contribution brings us closer to reaching our goal. This fundraiser will help provide our students with meaningful experiences.

⏰ Attendance Matters!

Our current schoolwide attendance rate is 94.72%, and we are so proud of our families for making school attendance a priority. Every day matters! Being at school consistently helps students stay connected to their learning, classmates, and teachers.

One of our goals this year is to continue building strong relationships and partnerships with our families. We want every family to feel welcomed, heard, and connected to Stone Avenue.

If there is ever anything we can do to better support your child or your family, please let us know. We are here to work alongside you and want to make sure every student has the opportunity to thrive.

🌟 Perfect Attendance Celebration! 🌟

Did your child have perfect attendance in August 2026? 🎉

Students who were here every school day in August will be invited to enjoy our Tostada Bar! 🌮

We will be celebrating perfect attendance every month with a special attendance luncheon. This means your child needs to be at school every day to participate.

💡 Missed a day? No worries!
Students can make up an absence by attending Saturday School. Once the absence is made up, they can still qualify for our monthly attendance celebration!

📚 Every Day Counts!
Thank you for helping your child come to school every day and on time. We can’t wait to celebrate our Dolphins! 🐬

Parents will be able to check their child’s progress toward the 100 Mile Club goal. Student mile totals will be updated at the end of each month, beginning in October.

We’ll also have some fun opportunities to run together! 🏃‍♀️ Our runs will take place at 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM on select days. Parents are welcome to join the fun and run with us! 💙

Let’s keep our Dolphins moving, active, and on their way to 100 miles! 🌊🐬

We love having families involved at Stone Avenue! If you would like to volunteer on campus or chaperone school activities, please click here to begin the volunteer clearance process through our Human Resources Department.

🍕🐬 Shakey’s PBIS Celebration! 🐬🍕

We will be taking students in grades 1–6 on special field trips to Shakey’s to celebrate students who demonstrate our behavior focus of the month!

Each month, teachers will select students who have consistently shown the behavior we are focusing on. Selected students will enjoy a special lunch at Shakey’s with our admin team and Wellness Coach, along with their peers.

We had our first trip this week, and it was so much fun! 🎉 We are excited to continue celebrating our Dolphins for making positive choices and demonstrating our SWIM expectations! 🌊🐬
