Hi Redhawk Families!

What a week at Rennell! Our pre-k students had a fun time at their pre-k parent day and our kindergarten friends got a special visit from the Houston Police Department and Houston Fire Department—sirens, smiles, and lots of learning!

The creativity at Rennell never stops—our Storybook Pumpkin Patch is absolutely amazing! Thank you to all our families for making it so special.

Exciting news: Rennell has been formally adopted by Lightbridge Academy, a new learning center opening soon in the area through the district's community business and community relations program . We look forward to collaborating with their team, who deeply value the dedication of our teachers each day.

Thank you for helping make Rennell such a magical place to learn and grow!

1. Penny Wars was a great success! We raised $2540.69 in donations for CFPD's COPS program! WOW! Congratulations to 3rd grade for earning the most points.! You all will get a popsicle party at lunch next week!

Registration for Gifted and Talented testing opens Monday, August 18th.

If you are seeking Gifted and Talented testing for your student in grades 1st-5th, please see the linked flyer below with step by step instructions. GT testing registration closes Friday, November 21st.

*All kindergarten students will be automatically screened for the GT Program.*

September 30 and October 1 - 4-8PM - Chuck–e-Cheese Copperfield - where students can redeem their free play cards and the highest grossing class from the fundraiser can redeem their pizza party!
