The Appeals of Our Lady Coming to St. Luke the Evangelist!
St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Ankeny will host The Appeals of Our Lady, a Vatican-approved international exhibit, from September 8–21, 2025, at 1102 NW Weigel Dr.
This free exhibit is open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, excluding regular Mass times. Please enter through the northside doors and check in with the parish office during school hours. Be mindful of increased traffic in the parking lot during school drop-off (7:45–8:15 am) and pick-up (3:00–3:30 pm), Monday through Friday.
On loan from Spirit Catholic Radio, The Appeals of Our Lady is a traveling exhibit of 20 stunning panels highlighting Marian apparitions from around the world. This powerful exhibit was designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis and offers a meaningful way to encounter the Blessed Mother’s messages throughout history.

A Sweet Way to Support Our Community
Get a taste of Oxtoberfest a little early! St. Luke's is teaming up with The Outside Scoop (2140 SW White Birch Dr, Ankeny) for a sweet Community Give-Back Night on Thursday, Sept 18, from 3:30-8 pm.
Bring your friends, family, and a big sweet tooth—because 20% of all proceeds from this event will be donated back to St. Luke's to support Oxtoberfest celebrations.
Important: To participate, you must bring a physical flyer with you (digital versions can’t be accepted). Flyers will be available at St. Luke’s soon.
Come for the ice cream, stay for the community—and help us make Oxtoberfest extra special this year!
