8th grade parents, next week we will be sending a separate communication regarding important processes, materials, and timelines for FHS transition and scheduling. FHS counselors will be visiting 8th grade classes on February 17th and 18th.

Conference Details/ Information

Parents/ Guardians,

Below you will find a list of the AGS Staff, as well as their availability for Parent-Teacher conferences. We are still in the process of gathering all of our teachers' virtual conference information and scheduling materials and compiling a single spreadsheet for parents to reference. This list will be finalized by Friday, January 30th.

We wanted to share this process with you in advance, and are hopeful that this helps to streamline conferences and helps keep everything in one place for our stakeholders.

Please follow these directions to book an appointment:

1. Using student schedules, verify the AGS Staff Members you need to schedule appointments with.

2. Click hyperlink (in the spreadsheet below) to schedule a conference with a particular staff member utilizing Google Calendar appointment slots. Use calendar arrows (upper left) to go to date of conferences. Choose the time window that best fits your schedule, and be understanding that there is a 5 minute limit to each appointment.

3. Once the appointment slot is filled, an automated email will be sent that confirms the appointment. Please use that calendar invite to access the URL for the virtual conference. Teachers have been asked to use Meet or Zoom, so please prepare accordingly. Please know that there is a call option via Google Meet should a webcam not be available.

4. Should there be a technology issue, please reach out to the staff member for alternative arrangements or with concerns.

5. We encourage parents to try and be in the designated virtual conference 5 minutes early.

Elijah was selected for his constant display of kindness and positivity. He’s always thinking of ways to lend a hand and make things better for others. A frequent contributor to the AGS Suggestion Box, Elijah even took the initiative to organize it into a digital format for Mr. Bradley—talk about leadership and creativity! From suggesting better donuts at breakfast to sharing ideas to improve SRT for students, Elijah is always looking for ways to make AGS an even better place for everyone.

AST will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays directly after school in the media center and will end at 3:15 with bus pickup scheduled for 3:25 PM. A completed permission slip is required for students to stay for AST. The permission slip is a Google Form that parents must fill out. Click the button below to access the permission slip!
