As we step into a fresh month full of energy, campus is absolutely buzzing with momentum and pride!

Our recent pep rally was nothing short of incredible—the school spirit is at an all-time high, and the enthusiasm across all grade levels is contagious. That energy is paying off on the field and courts, too! Huge congratulations to our football team for bringing home a massive victory on Friday, our Girls Flag Football team for charging ahead with an impressive 6-1 record, and our tennis team for securing a fantastic match win!

A special shout-out goes to our talented teachers, who bring that same high energy into the classroom every day with engaging lessons that challenge you to be bold, critical thinkers.

As a reminder, September is Positive Attendance Month! Showing up is where success begins, so remember that every day and every period counts.

Let's keep this momentum rolling, make this month unforgettable, and continue setting the bar high. Be safe, have fun, and make positive memories—what a great day to be a Lope!

Honoring 9/11: NJROTC Presents at AVC Remembrance Event

On September 11th, our NJROTC cadets had the distinct honor of presenting the colors at the Antelope Valley College 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony. Standing tall as student leaders, our cadets represented Lope Nation with exceptional solemnity, respect, and discipline during this meaningful community event. We are incredibly proud of our NJROTC program for honoring the heroes and lives lost on 9/11, reminding us all of the strength, unity, and resilience that define our community.

Out of nearly 15,000 grades recorded so far, almost 50% are A’s—that is an incredible achievement, and you should be proud of the hard work powering those results!

For anyone currently sitting with an F, remember that this isn't the end of the road. Talk to your teacher right away about making up missing assignments and getting back on track. Aiming to finish every class with a C or better keeps your college eligibility solid and opens up big opportunities for your future. Keep pushing—you've got this!

AVHS STUDENT SUPPORT

Our focus remains steadfast on maintaining a supportive and uplifting environment for every student at Antelope Valley High School. A positive campus culture is a collective effort, and we are excited about the work that lies ahead. Thanks to the dedication of our students and families, we successfully keep our campus incidents below the average. This consistency is a testament to the strength of our school community.

We want to remind you of the extensive support network available to every child. Whether your student needs assistance with academic challenges, social-emotional well-being, or behavioral guidance, we have a comprehensive team ready to step in. Our campus is home to psychologists, counselors, social workers, therapists, community specialists, and behavioral mentors, alongside our dedicated security team, administration, attendance mentors, teachers, and coaches. We are here to support the "whole student," but we also rely on our partnership with you. We encourage everyone to remain vigilant and proactive: if you see something, please say something. By working together and utilizing the resources available, we can ensure that the 26-27 school year is defined by safety, growth, and achievement.
