Bellerive Bulletin
March 8, 2026
Dear Bellerive Families,
As we move into the final week before spring break, we have a few updates, celebrations, and leadership connections to share from around Bellerive.
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
Our focus this month is Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw. This habit is about taking care of ourselves so we can do our best. Leaders balance activities that renew their mind, body, heart, and spirit.
At Bellerive, students are practicing Habit 7 by:
-
Reading and learning new things to sharpen their minds
-
Playing and exercising to care for their bodies
-
Spending time with friends and family to fill their hearts
-
Finding quiet moments to rest and recharge their spirits
Families can support this habit at home by encouraging healthy routines, outdoor play, family time, and rest. After this week’s half-day, your child will bring home a Habits at Home activity focused on Habit 7
When students sharpen the saw, they are refreshed, balanced, and ready to learn and lead. Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting the 7 Habits and helping our students continue to grow as leaders.
Thank You for Supporting Bellerive
A big thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s PTO Trivia and Auction Night such a fun and successful evening. From the teams who joined us for trivia to the families and community members who donated items or placed bids, your support means so much to our school.
A special thank you to the PTO leaders and volunteers who worked behind the scenes to organize such a great event. Your time, creativity, and dedication truly help our Bellerive community thrive.
We will share the final fundraising total soon, but please know that every dollar raised helps support opportunities for our students and staff. Thank you for continuing to invest in our Bellerive Leaders.
Spring Break Ahead
Spring break is just around the corner. As a reminder, break begins when school ends at 1:05 pm on Friday, March 13, and school will resume on Monday, March 23.
The Bellerive Bulletin will also take a short spring break. Our next edition will be sent on Sunday, March 22.
Whether your family is traveling or enjoying some time close to home, I hope the week provides a chance to rest, recharge, and spend time together. We look forward to welcoming everyone back after break, refreshed and ready to dive into the fourth quarter as we continue making waves in our Sea of Leaders.
Have a great week!
In partnership,
Joey Kneer
