So Many Amazing Things Happening!

Hey Wolves! We had such a great week in CCSL Elementary! Students have been working so hard in their learning, homework is underway, and we are seeing some amazing work being done! Students have been showing all aspects of our core values and our teachers are making such meaningful and memorable experiences for our students!

Reminder - Half Day Wednesday Reminder - Half Day Wednesday

Dismissal at 12:30

Just a reminder that Wednesday 9/17 is a half day for students! Dismissal will be at 12:30 and there will be no after school program. Please make sure your student knows how they are going home for the half day. If there is a change to the way your student is going home it needs to be made through the front office by 10am. We will not be accepting any Parent Square messages as a change in dismissal. Also a reminder that if a student gets dismissed before 12:30 on the half day they will be marked absent for the entire day. Please make sure you are on time to pick up your students as staff has meetings right after dismissal that they must attend.

Our WOLF Wall is Filling Up!

We are a week into looking for students who are being a W.O.L.F (Working Responsibly, Owning Our Choices, Loving Learning, Friendship). We kicked off this week with our first K-4 Assembly and students went through the rest of the week excited to earn notes! All of the notes given this week were collected and hung on the WOLF Wall for all to see! We had a few wolves randomly selected to be shouted out over the intercom today as well! Congrats to Luna, Knyaz, Kayden, Nore, and Ms Tougas for being this week's shoutouts!

Attendance Super Stars! Attendance Super Stars!

Congrats 2B and KGB

We have two amazing classes that had 100% attendance for this week!! They were celebrated by Mrs Ferrazzani, Ms Boyajian, Mr Bakr and Ms Cardoso! These classes are the holders of the attendance trophy for the week! Great job KGB and 2B! Can't wait to see who wins next week!

Wolfie's Closet Wolfie's Closet

Help Support Our Students

We’re excited to share a resource at our school: Wolfie’s Closet — a place where students in need can access free school uniforms and a limited supply of toiletries and non-uniform clothing.
Whether a student is in need of a uniform or a warm layer for the winter, Wolfie’s Closet is here to help with dignity and care.

How You Can Help:
We are currently seeking donations of gently used uniforms in good condition. If your child has outgrown their clothing, consider donating to support another member of our Wolf Pack!

Donations can be dropped off anytime in the entryways of the main office and high school during school hours.

As we get Wolfie's Closet up and running, we kindly ask that families reach out only if there is a real need, as our supplies are currently limited. But, please do not hesitate to reach out if you do have a need!

If your student needs access to our closet, please contact your Asst/Associate Principals or Counselor.

Thank you for helping us build a strong and supportive school community! 💚🤍

SMILE! Picture Day is On the Way! SMILE! Picture Day is On the Way!

K-5 Picture Day is 10/7

Students will be taking individual pictures on October 7th. Please make sure all students are in their uniform and on time for school so they do not miss their pictures. Forms to order pictures will be going home within the next week or two so please keep an eye out for those. Picture retakes will be in December and class pictures will be in the spring.

Dismissal Reminders Dismissal Reminders

A Few Reminders to Help Keep Everyone Safe

Our goal is to always make sure dismissal runs smoothly and safely.

  • ALL Parent Pickup cars should be in the pickup lane (Right-hand drive, closest to the school)
  • There should be no cars in the bus lane or parked in parking spots to pick up students
  • All cars must pull up to the sidewalk to get students. Students will not be allowed to cross into traffic.
  • All parents should remain in their cars to keep the flow of traffic moving
  • Students will enter cars through the rear passenger side door.

If you need to change how your student is going home for a day, it needs to go through the front office by 2:00!

Students will also not be able to be dismissed after 3:00. If you need to pull your kiddo out early for an appointment please make sure it is before 3:00 and that the front office is notified earlier in the day.

This year we will be shifting to Standards Based Report Cards

A new standards-based report card format will be introduced in grades K-4 in the 2025-2026 school year. While parents and students in grades K-4 will continue to view report cards through Power School, the format will look different. Students in grades 3-4 will continue to receive a letter grade for each subject, but will also be assessed using state standards for each subject area, including specials. Kindergarteners will continue to be assessed using only standards. Teachers will assess students using the state standards to insure clarity and consistency in expectations across classroom and grade levels. The standards-based design will allow more detailed feedback aligned with specific learning goals for each of the subjects, thereby aiding parents, students, teachers and administrators to focus on growth and areas needing additional support.
