As we wrap up our first quarter, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a wonderful and successful start to the school year at Beck. Our students and staff have worked hard to establish routines, build relationships, and create a positive environment for learning and growth. As we enjoy the beautiful autumn season and begin looking ahead to the upcoming holidays, I encourage everyone to take time to appreciate the many things that make our Beck community special. We are also excited to kick off our basketball season and welcome our cheerleading team as they bring even more energy and school spirit to Beck. Thank you to our families for your continued support and partnership as we work together to help every student succeed. I look forward to building on our strong start and making the rest of the year even better.

In honor of America's 250th Birthday, Greenville County Schools invites every student in grades Pre-K–12 to participate in a districtwide celebration. There is no single right answer. Your entry should reflect your own thoughts, experiences, hopes, or appreciation for America. Think about the people, places, freedoms, opportunities, traditions, challenges, or dreams that make America meaningful to you.

Curiouser and Curiouser! All call for students interested in auditioning to be in Beck's Spring Musical, Alice in Wonderland Jr.! Auditions will be October 27-30th from 3:30-5:00 pm. All auditioners must sign up for an audition slot on one of those days and times listed. All audition information can be found when scanning the QR code on the poster. Students may also talk to Mrs. Goodwin in Room 304 to get a physical audition packet and to ask any questions they may have.

Boys and girls cannot participate in any basketball fall conditioning if they have not registered on arbiter. Registration is found here:

Additionally, our athletes need to have a strong first quarter academically to participate in quarter 2.
