Message from Staff
Jordan and I are thrilled to be joining the Special Olympics Saskatchewan team. From the moment we stepped into these roles, we’ve been inspired by the unwavering commitment to inclusion, empowerment, and excellence that defines this incredible community. Across the province, we see athletes breaking barriers, coaches leading with heart, and families finding connection through sport. It’s clear that Special Olympics is more than an organization—it’s a movement that opens hearts and minds, celebrates diversity, and builds communities where everyone belongs. We look forward to learning from each of you and supporting the continued growth of this life-changing mission.
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the amazing volunteers, generous sponsors, and compassionate donors who make this work possible. Your dedication and support are the foundation of our success. Whether you're mentoring athletes, organizing events, or contributing resources, your impact is felt in every moment of joy, achievement, and connection. Together, we are creating opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to reach their full potential, experience the joy of sport, and lead empowered lives. Thank you for being champions of inclusion and for helping us build a stronger, more unified Saskatchewan.

Thank you to all the coaches who were able to join us in Swift Current for an inspiring symposium full of learning and connection!
Highlights included an engaging keynote from Cory Clouston, former NHL and WHL coach, who shared his personal journey and emphasized the importance of work-life balance and wellness—physical and mental.
We also introduced Jordan St. Onge, our new Community and Program Coordinator, explored floorball best practices, enjoyed an interactive Movement Cave session, and reviewed coaching tools in The Locker.
Your commitment makes a difference—thank you for being part of this event!
Thank You to our Board of Directors
We are grateful to our Board of Directors for their leadership and commitment to Special Olympics Saskatchewan. Recently, we said goodbye to some Board members whose contributions have made a lasting impact, and we warmly welcome two new members bringing fresh energy and ideas.
Being a Board member is an opportunity to lead with purpose, champion inclusion, and make a real difference in the lives of our athletes. To all past and present Board members — thank you for your dedication and support.
