Please see below for important information regarding testing. The buses run at the typical AM and PM times before and after school on April 15th, 16rd, 21th, and 23rd. Students can ride the bus on testing days and wait in the cafeteria until their classes start, or they may show up when their classes begin.
Please note the End of Course Exam schedule as shown above for students. Please also notice that not every mod will take place each day. The mods do not run in consecutive order so as to accommodate the Polaris students' schedule. Please be aware Tuesday, April 28th, unless your student is taking the Biology exam, NO other students should be in the building.
ONLY STUDENTS TESTING SHOULD BE IN THE BUILDING DURING SCHEDULED TESTING TIMES on the 28th. Please look at the exam testing chart above for further clarification. Reminder: Polaris Students, on the days of End of Course Exams, buses for Polaris will run as normally scheduled.
If a student does not have an EOC test, they do not need to be at BMHS during testing. However, if they are taking their normal bus for transportation purposes, students should report to the 1A Cafeteria and remain there. Students are not permitted to walk through the building while tests are being administered.
Say Something Week
Dear BCSD Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
On March 24, 2021, Ohio's 133rd General Assembly enacted House Bill 123, the "Safety and
Violence Education Students (SAVE Students) Act." The SAVE Students Act supports Ohio’s
strategic plan for education with respect to school security, youth suicide awareness
education, and training.
During the week of March 23 - 27, 2026, students will be taking part in Say Something Week at
Berea-Midpark High School. We will be discussing how to recognize warning signs and threats
of potential violence, and the importance of telling a trusted adult. It can be hard for adults to
know how the children in their lives are feeling. Today, many teens and adolescents turn to
online channels to express themselves, their thoughts and hopes, and their anxieties and
personal feelings. Some even go as far as hinting they want to hurt themselves or someone
else. Their friends and peers are the eyes and ears of a school community and may observe
these communications, but not always understand or know what to do with that information.
Say Something teaches all of this. The 30-minute training will talk through the 3 steps: 1) Look
for warning signs and threats, 2) Act immediately, take it seriously, and 3) Say Something to a
trusted adult.
We encourage you to talk to your student about how important it is to Say Something and
encourage them to share what they are learning. Not only will this conversation help you to
recognize any signs in your own students’ expressions, but it also demonstrates to them that
you take this subject seriously and can be one of the trusted adults they turn to if they suspect
someone may need help.
We know that schools are meant to be safe places. Say Something will help equip our young
people to do their part to keep our school community safe. For more information on
Say Something, please visit: www.sandyhookpromise.org/saysomething.
If you have any questions about the curriculum, you may contact your child’s school counselor
or Meredith Ondak, mondak@bereaschools.org or 216-898-8300 ext. 6271.

STN National Convention
Berea-Midpark High School recently traveled to the Student Television Network’s National Convention in Tampa, Florida February 27 - March 3rd where they competed alongside some of the top high school broadcast and film programs from across the country. This year’s theme, Deep Dive, challenged students and teachers to push past the surface and explore bold, meaningful storytelling across broadcast, film, and multimedia. With hands-on contests and inspiring pro-led sessions, this was the ultimate opportunity to grow their skills, connect with a creative community, and showcase their work on a national stage.
