Instrumental Music News
We had AMAZING performances on November 18th and 19th with a packed house! It is wonderful to see the growth in our young musicians.
Congratulations to Noah Farrar and Aisha Lee, who were both selected to participate in the CBDA/CAJ All-State Honor Jazz Band for 2026! This is a rare honor and one that is truly deserved by both students, who will participate in a series of rehearsals and a concert at the California All-State Music Education Conference, which will be held in Sacramento, CA, from January 14th -18th. Bravo to Noah and Aisha!
Important Information Regarding Chromebooks
Students will need to bring their Chromebooks - to school for daily use. We will NOT have extras in the classroom for students to use so it is IMPERATIVE they remember to charge and bring each day.
It is recommended that families purchase insurance for their student's Chromebooks. The cost is $24.95 https://securranty.com/mdusd here is a link to purchase insurance.
