The Board of Education Student Showcase recognizes students with outstanding achievement in school-sponsored academics, athletics, and activities.

The Nebraska Department of Education has again ranked Millard Public Schools as an Excellent school district. The department's ratings were released just before the Thanksgiving holiday.

• Millard West High School Activities Director Lance Smith has been recognized by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association as a Certified Master Athletic Administrator.
