Focusing on our data
Hello Falcon Families:
As we moved forward with the second semester, we are focusing on moving forward with our data. Over the next month, we are completing two different versions of data collections through MAP testing and Interim testing. This data paired with our semester exam data is going to give us direct student data points to ensure that students are growing academically. Below you will find the schedule for MAP testing that will occur next week. This data point is going to provide us growth measurements from the MAP testing they took at the beginning of the year in September. Our teachers will use this data to help pinpoint what strategies to focus on for our built in intervention classes. Please ensure that your student is present each day for these tests.
We will be sending home MAP data, data tracking and Interim data home with your student over the next month as well, so please be on the lookout for that information. If you ever have questions about that data, do not hesitate to reach out.
Please take a moment to read through the information below. We appreciate all your support, and please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Sincerely,
Nicole Rosas-Saunders, Principal

Tardy Sweeps....what are they and why are they done?
We have noticed that more and more students are getting to class late, because of this, we have initiated our Tardy Sweeps. Please read the information below pertaining to the process.
Tardy Sweeps:
If your student is caught in a tardy sweep, it result in a day of ISS. Tardy sweeps are announced during the passing period by admin with at least 3:00 mins left in the transition period. If your student is not in the room when the tardy bell rings, they are escorted to ISS for the remainder of the day. Admin performs these sweeps. The ISS will either be served that day or scheduled for the next day.
Outside Food for Lunches (ie from a restaurant)
