We are in the home stretch! Just one more week, then we will have made it through the first semester of school!
I know everyone is tired as we head into the final week but please continue to make good school attendance a priority. This short video has testimonials from parents and tips for promoting good school attendance: https://vimeo.com/240840053?fl=pl&fe=sh

Families! It's time to stock up on more library books for Winter break during Family Checkout Week December 15-18! This will be a time where adults can visit the library with their MES students and pick out books together! Time will be 7:05-7:30 before school starts. All students with adults may enter through the library outside door (Door 2). No need to badge in at the front. Adults will be asked to leave through that door as well, and students will go to class when the bell rings.

PfISD Coins for a Cause
The Central Texas Food Bank reports an “unsustainable” level of need, with operating costs now exceeding $1.3 million per month. Monetary donations are especially effective; just $10 provides about 40 meals through their retail and bulk purchasing partnerships.
This effort builds on the incredible work of Aramark, which continues to support the district’s holiday food drive. As Aramark helps collect non-perishable food, PfISD will focus on raising monetary donations to help the Food Bank stretch every dollar to feed more families.
Each campus will collect coins and dollar donations from November 13 – December 17 in Pf Cares buckets.
