Our PTA association meeting is open to all PTA members! We will be having our 2026-2027 PTA elections! The floor will be open for any current PTA member interested in filling a position. The elected filled positions will also be read and approved.

This will be a very special night of honoring those who have invested and contributed to bettering our community. A few special members will receive Honorary Service Rewards.

We will also be having special Kinder performances from two of our Kinder classes: Mrs. Orquiola and Mrs. Fukunaga. (The other kinder classes will perform in March)

P.S. Please support the 5th grade class at the snack table!

The 1st VP: schedules all school assemblies and organizes the Honorary Service Awards committee and awards night

The 3rd VP: membership chair

The 4th VP: hospitality chair

The historian: collects PTA documents, volunteer hours, etc.

Our students are doing lesson #3 (out of 5) for Adventures In Art (AIA). Thank you PTA for all of the art supplies! Thank you volunteers for helping run a wonderful art class for each grade.

Students will explore how color conveys emotions and ideas, appreciate the beauty of abstract art, and understand how repetition and rhythm can create movement and harmony in a composition. The lesson emphasizes expanding students' skills in color mixing, encourages creativity and self-expression, while introduction a pioneering artist who challenged conventions by using vibrant palettes to depict themes of nature, space, and joy.

Hi Arlington Families,

Arlington's Reading Incentive Week is coming up the week of March 2nd. It kicks off with the national "Reading Across America" day, on Monday, March 2nd. As part of "Read Across America" PTA invites a guest reader to each class, to read a story to the class.

We are looking for a cleared volunteer for each class. If you are interested in volunteering for your child's class, please reach out to your Room Parent and Teacher to coordinate a reading time.

More information about Reading Incentive Week will go home with students on Monday March 2nd. If you have any questions please email me at arlington.readacrossamerica@gmail.com.
