OUR FIRST FULL WEEK OUR FIRST FULL WEEK

Here comes our first 5 day week of the school year. The students are doing a great job following expectations and learning routines. Please make sure they are getting plenty of sleep at home. This week we move into NWEA testing for Math. Students need their charged Chromebooks in order to take this so please help remind them to plug it in at home. Also, Picture Day is Wednesday, see below for more information!

WE NEED YOUR HELP! WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are still seeing a lot of outside drinks coming in the building in the morning and students are struggling to have them finished by the time classes start. Please consider this new food/drink process at MPMS when visiting the drive thru in the morning.

In an effort to keep building carpet, furniture and technology in excellent condition and due to an increase in the number of students with significant/severe food allergies, we are moving to water only in classrooms.

Students may still take advantage of our free second chance breakfast, provided by the school during 1st and 2nd hour, and eat in the classroom. There may also be times that teachers provide things as part of a lesson, celebration, etc. Students who bring additional food or beverage from home will need to store it in their locker until lunch time, where it can be consumed and disposed of in the cafeteria.

MPMS Accelerated Math Program and MPMS French Students Attendance on Days with an Irregular Schedule

For Elementary Students Attending MPMS

  • These students WILL NOT attend on most days that alter the daily schedule, including delay days, half days, and days where MPMS students start with first hour. One issue is that there may not be a bus available to transport them back to their elementary schools. Another issue on delay days is that they will be finished with their MPMS math class long before their elementary start time.

  • The only exception to this rule will be days where they will be taking their trimester exams. They will indeed attend on exam days, even with the change in schedule.

For MPMS Students Attending MPHS

  • These students WILL NOT attend on delay days, half days, and all other irregular days unless otherwise instructed by their MPHS Math/French teacher.

TRANSPORTATION TRANSPORTATION

School starts August 21, 2025
