On behalf of the entire Gayman faculty and staff I would like to thank you for your kindness, support, and understanding throughout the school year. Gayman is such a special place for learning because of its incredible school community. We all play an important part in the education of Gayman’s students. Thank you for being a member of our educational team. We are proud to collaborate with you for the good of our young people.
Best wishes to our sixth-grade students as they move on to middle school. We wish them the best next year and beyond!!! To all who will be returning to Gayman next school year, we wish you an amazing summer break. We look forward to seeing you at the end of the summer as you return for the 2025-2026 school year!

Important CBSD Information
Reminder-Early Dismissals on June 11th, 12th and 13th:
As we approach the last month of the school year, we want to remind families about three early dismissals in June: Wednesday, June 11th (graduation); Thursday, June 12th (teacher in-service); and Friday, June 13th (last day of school).
On these days, high school will dismiss at 10:40 a.m.; middle school at 10:45 a.m.; and elementary school at 11:55 a.m. (“A” schools), 12:10 p.m. (“B” schools), and 12:25 p.m. (“C” schools).
Kindergartners in our AM program will attend on June 11th, which will also be their last day. Kindergartners in our PM program will attend on June 12th and 13th, ensuring both AM and PM groups have equally attended school for six half-days over the course of the district's twelve early dismissals this year. Let's finish the year strong!
Celebrating Our Seniors on June 11th:
More than 1,500 Central Bucks seniors will receive diplomas as members of the Class of 2025 on Wednesday, June 11th.
The district is excited to honor and celebrate this year's graduates and we wish them the very best in their future endeavors!
We also welcome the community to livestream the celebration. View all details.
New Additions in CBSD "e-Flyer Folder" on Community Events:
Recent additions to the district's e-Flyer Folder include flyers seeking volunteers for Art Goes to School and Boys Team Charity. Check it out now!
Reminder on Helmet and E-Bike State Laws to Promote Student Safety:
As the weather warms up, students are more regularly walking or biking to school, and e-bikes are becoming increasingly popular. In Pennsylvania, an e-bike is defined as a bicycle with working pedals and an electric motor that provides pedal-assist or throttle power. To ensure our families are aware, under state law, children under 16 are prohibited from operating e-bikes and children under 12 must wear a helmet when riding any bicycle, e-bike, scooter, or segway. The requirement to wear a helmet applies to anyone operating the bicycle, riding as a passenger, or riding in an attached restraining seat or trailer. Also, per CBSD Policy 223, students must have both principal and parent permission to ride a bike to school. We ask families to please ensure children under 16 do not ride an e-bike to school. We also ask parents to ensure children 12 and under wear a helmet and we encourage all bike riders to do the same. Any questions, please contact your school.
Lunch costs have increased by $.10 for the 24-25 school year.
The district is continuing to offer free breakfast!
Lunch Cost: $2.85
Create a Meal Payment Account on MySchoolBucks:
CBSD utilizes the online platform MySchoolBucks for school meal payments, making it easy to oversee a child's meal choices and maintain their account balance. It is important that an account is created for every student, regardless of whether they take part in school meals or not.
You can access MySchoolBucks to view and/or set up an account for your student(s) here.
To set up an account, you will need your child(ren)'s student identification number(s), which can be found in the Parent Portal.
As we approach the end of the school year, menu items may change due to availability.
Free & Reduced Lunch Information:
The application for free and reduced meal pricing for the 2024-25 school year is open. You can access the online application for Free & Reduced Meals by clicking here. The application must be submitted each year AND for each child. If your child received free or reduced lunch last year, you must re-apply for the 24-25 school year.

Celebrity Scoop - This Thursday:
Thank you to all of our families for coming out to The Salt Box last week and supporting the Gayman Staff Scoopers! The staff had a blast and hope this was the first of more "Celeb Scoops" to come.
End of the Year Picnic:
Thank you all for joining us at the End of the Year Picnic to celebrate another great school year! We hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing summer!
A Thank you from our HSA President:
It is hard to believe that it is my last year at Gayman Elementary School and as President of the Home and School Association (HSA). It has been an honor and privilege to be part of the HSA board for the past four years and in the role of President for the past three. Your support and generosity has been greatly appreciated!
Thank you to the current board members for all of your support and help over the last years. Your commitment and dedication to Gayman is above and beyond. Without each of you, I would not have been successful in my role.
Thank you to the staff for welcoming me with open arms. And for volunteering at HSA events and always saying hello to me in the hallway. Huge thank you to the office dream team and Mr. Ortman for making me feel like part of the team! For answering the abundance of questions, phone calls, emails and supporting all things related to HSA.
Thank you to every child who has crossed my path in the halls. I am grateful for each child who had a curious mind to see what is in the Home and School storage closet and peeked in and said hello. Thank you to every child who has stopped at the hallway intersections or moved to one side of the hallway to let me pass with supplies for the next HSA event. Your smiles and big hearts make me burst with pride to be part of this school! And you are the reason I stepped into this role!
Thank you to every parent who has supported me. Thank you to those who volunteered, donated an item, were a homeroom parent, chaired a committee, were part of a committee and/or helped at HSA events. Without each of you these events would not be possible.
Special thank you to my mom friends who have offered to take something off my plate, helped behind the scenes and offered a tremendous amount of support!
And last but not least; thank you to my own children for allowing me to be present for ALL of the kids at Gayman! And as promised, I will honor your last and final request to be present just as "your mom and a parent" for 6th grade promotion.
It has been an honor to be part of Gayman Elementary! Gayman will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Davis
