a message from Ms Parker...
Congratulations Ms Neate- Assistant Headteacher LKS2
I am delighted to welcome everyone back for the second half of the autumn term. I hope you all enjoyed a restful break and are feeling refreshed for the busy and exciting weeks ahead.
I would like to begin by extending my warmest congratulations to Ms Neate on her well-deserved promotion to Assistant Headteacher Lower Key Stage Two. This achievement is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and positive impact across our school community. I know you will all join me in celebrating her success.
You will see Ms Neate at the LKS2 gate, welcoming our children in every morning from this week.
For the coming weeks, Ms Neate will work alonside Ms Napier to enable a smooth transition for our children and families in years 3 and 4.
Our value for this month is Tolerance, an important quality that underpins our inclusive ethos. In assemblies and class discussions, we will be exploring themes such as understanding and respecting differences, listening to others’ perspectives, and showing kindness and patience in our daily interactions. Together, we aim to help every child appreciate the strength that comes from diversity.
The coming term promises to be a busy and festive one, filled with seasonal celebrations, performances, and class assemblies. Please make sure that all key dates are noted in your diaries so that you can join us in marking these special occasions.
As always, I look forward to working closely with our staff, pupils, and families over the coming weeks as we continue to build on our shared commitment to learning, respect, and community spirit.
See you at the gate in the mornings between 8.45am and 9.00am!
Ms A. Parker
Executive Headteacher
👏 Congratulations, Olha!
A huge well done to Olha, who recently took part in a Newsround interview about Ukraine. She spoke with confidence, maturity and real insight. We are incredibly proud of the way she represented both her experiences and our school. Well done, Olha!

Homework
Please help support your child with their spelling by looking at the spelling rules, sounds and patterns in each word. Practicing spellings daily (or as much as possible) will help your children to learn and remember each word. In KS1, children will need to choose five spelling words to put into sentences.
In KS2, children will need to write a sentence for each word, using neat, joined handwriting.
This will allow the children to understand the meaning of each word, put the word into context, and practice their handwriting.
All spelling books must be given to the Class Teacher every Wednesday. This will ensure that your teacher has enough time to get the new spellings stuck in. Children will be doing a weekly spelling test in the back of their homework books so you will be able to see how well they are doing.

School Meals
School Meals Provider- Harrisons
We are encouraging our children to be adventurous with their food choices and to try things they may not have tasted before. Developing a healthy attitude towards food helps children build confidence, broaden their tastes, and discover new favourites. We would be grateful if you could support this at home by encouraging your child to try different foods, even if it’s just a small taste.
You may be surprised at what they enjoy!
🎄 Christmas Lunch 2025 🎄
We’re excited to invite all pupils to our festive Christmas Lunch on Thursday 11th December. The kitchen team has prepared a delicious seasonal menu featuring traditional favourites, tasty vegetarian options, and a special winter dessert. It’s a wonderful chance for everyone to come together, celebrate the season, and enjoy a cosy lunchtime filled with festive cheer.
We look forward to a joyful meal with our school community!
FAB Update
Friends Association Bonneville
Help our PTA- We are all members of FAB!
We always need more help and support. A donation of one hour per term (that’s only three hours per year) of your time is all we ask, whether it be as a class rep, planning/hosting an event, or standing on a stall. Some parents very generously agreed to host an event like our amazing wreath-making workshop or the gathering of donations for our incredible raffles. Every parent is a member of FAB. I ask that everyone get involved.

Raising a Concern
It is important to us that any concerns or questions you may have are dealt with as efficiently as possible. The structure we have in place is designed to do just that.
The structure
1) Your first port of call is -Your child’s class teacher
(email via the admin team to request a meeting)
2) You may contact the leader of your child’s phase (see below)
This includes issues regarding communication and organisation
(email via the admin team to request a meeting)
Should you be dissatisfied with the handling or outcome...
3) You may raise your concerns with Ms Parker
(email via the admin team to request a meeting outlining the nature for the purpose of the meeting)
Leaders are required to share items (as appropriate) with Ms Parker on a weekly basis, even if the matter is being handled by them.
We request that you do not field your concerns to FAB but instead work directly with the school staff as outlined above.
