Jayhawk Elementary Growth Report (2025-2026)

This year, we used student data to better understand how each child is learning and to provide extra support (called interventions) when needed. We are pleased to share that students across our school showed growth from fall to spring in math, reading, and early reading skills.

Math Growth Students improved their overall math scores from fall to spring. The average score increased from about 210 to 215, showing steady progress across grade levels.

Reading Growth (Grades 2–6) Students showed strong improvement in reading skills. The average reading score increased from about 501 to 514, reflecting solid growth over the school year.

Early Reading Growth (K–1) Our youngest learners made significant gains in foundational reading skills. The average score nearly doubled from fall to spring, showing strong early literacy development.

Three Positive Takeaways:

2 Early reading growth is especially strong.

3 Our use of interventions is making a difference.

Growth is what matters most—and our students are moving forward. We will continue using this data to provide the right support for every child.
