Message from the Principals
Hello everyone,
It has been great to get students outside for a few recesses this week. Many have brought in boots and have enjoyed playing in the snow. We recommend families send in an extra set of clothes with their child if they are not wearing snow pants out to recess. The nurse has a very limited supply of clothing for students to borrow.
Our teachers participated in a professional development session around Math this week and specifically learned new ways to approach the challenging topic of subtraction. Teachers will also participate in professional development tied to Math content during their team meetings this month. Our Math Instructional Specialist, Karen Boisvert, will facilitate these meetings. Our staff actively participates in a variety of professional development opportunities throughout the year that include both academics and social-emotional learning.
Respectfully,
Terri and Jayson

An Important Message from Mrs. Brown
Dear Families,
Please make sure your child brings or wears sneakers on the days they have Physical Education. Boots and other non-athletic shoes are not safe for running or participating in activities in the gymnasium. Students who do not have appropriate footwear will need to sit out for safety reasons.
Thank you so much for your support in helping your child be prepared and ready to participate!
Sincerely,
Rebecca Brown

Thank you so much for all of the generous donations of clothing to the health office. I greatly appreciate your support! There is not too much to update this week for Nurse’s corner. We are primarily seeing cold-like symptoms at South Row and some flu cases. There have been no clusters or patterns for flu cases. I hope you all stay warm and healthy this weekend, and GO PATS!
Respectfully,
