Students and Staff have earned a Pajama Day on Thursday, Jan 29th. Thank you to everyone who has supported the education foundation. It's not to late to purchase and win a free lunch from Principal Baldwin.

The Alvin ISD Education Foundation hosts an annual community-focused fundraising event where participants purchase tickets for numbered plastic turtles. These turtles are released into a watercourse, and the first to cross the finish line wins. The event features over 20 vendors and raises funds to support educators and students. Join us for this fun event on February 8, 2025!

Final day for adoptions on campus will be Friday, January 31st.

I wanted to inform you that we have scheduled another free DSAT test at Huntington on February 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Our previous test filled up within a day, and unfortunately, we had to turn away many families. We encourage parents to enroll their student as soon as possible by following the link below:

Test duration is 2 hours and 14 minutes and will be held at the Huntington Learning Center-Pearland location.

Our diagnostic test report which is shared with the student/parents goes in great detail in identifying the areas that students need to focus on to improve their scores. In addition, we take time with each individual student and advise them on free resources available to them that they can use to study for the SAT. Families are under no obligation to sign up for any Huntington services or pay any money for results. They will receive a complete score breakdown for free. The only cost is the student’s time.

Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop/tablet and a calculator. List of allowed calculators for SAT can be found here. If a student needs a laptop, please call the center and reserve one as soon as possible as quantities are limited.
