Take Our Communications Survey Before Monday!
Get ready to turn up the volume—because your voice is music to our ears!
Homewood-Flossmoor High School is dropping the beat with the SCoPE Survey (School Communication Performance Evaluation), and we want to hear your greatest hits… and even the B-sides.
🎤 Why take it?
This survey is your chance to share how we’re doing when it comes to communication—what’s working, what’s not, and what you really, really want from us. Your input helps fine-tune how, when, and what we communicate with you our entire HF family.
🎧 Where and when?
The survey is open April 14–28 and takes just about 15 minutes to complete. It's completely anonymous and can be accessed here.
🎼 What’s the impact?
You helped us remix our communications strategy—including the fresh redesign of our website—because you told us what you wanted. And we listened.
Let’s keep the momentum going. Hit us with your honest feedback so we can keep the harmony strong across our school and community.
🎹 Still have questions?
Reach out to me anytime at carla.erdey@hf233.org.
Thank you for making our communication efforts a chart-topping collaboration!
Band & Orchestra Meet Beatboxing Flutist Greg Pattillo
Our Band and Orchestra students had a fantastic opportunity to participate in an in-school workshop with beatboxing flutist Greg Pattillo. During the session, the musician guided students in developing improvisation skills, enhancing their circular breathing technique, and making interdisciplinary connections—highlighting how understanding human anatomy supports effective music-making, particularly for woodwind players.
It’s chilly outside, but the summer heat is just around the corner. You can cool off at HF and sign up for Summer School 2025! Friday, April 24, 2025 is the last day to sign up for summer school.
If you signed up in SchoolLinks, with your Counselor in February, then the fees are on your account. You must make the payment in full before you are enrolled in Summer School. Please make this payment as soon as possible before the seats fill up!
If you did not sign up in School Links and are interested in Summer School, please see your counselor for approval to take the class, then have them email Cindy Hayes with the approval.
Registration will continue until May 23, 2025, or until classes are full. Learn about summer school course offerings, registration and more in the 2025 Summer School Brochure.
