Week 8 is completed! This week was packed full of great educational opportunities such as guest speakers, FFA Grasslands Competition, and the Build My Future event. Our students got to experience different career fields and actually operate equipment and tools within each field. Students are doing great as we prepare for the end of 1st quarter next week. I can't believe we are already about to finish 1st quarter. But, you know what they say, "Time flies when your having fun!". We are gearing up for an even better 2nd quarter and ready to welcome the fall air, winter sports, and so much more that comes with this time of year!

Oak Ridge is a community with a long standing tradition of taking care of one another. I am no different and sometimes I need help too. You will notice every week I will need help with certain things around the school and I am looking for leaders and students that want to help make a positive impact on Oak Ridge Schools!

1. Respect. I want to make sure we are being respectful to our classmates and our teachers. Please step up and be a leader and ensure we are being respectful to everyone and ALL TIMES!
2. Cleanliness: Students please help us in keeping our school and facilities clean and safe. Please help to pick up trash when you see it in the gym, classrooms, and hallways even if it isn't always yours.
3. Keep your hands to yourself. Students keep your hands and feet to yourself. Horseplay is not allowed.

• If you take medications please make sure they are kept in the nurse's office. No students should be carrying medications on them at anytime at school!
