Hello County Line Families,

What an amazing day we had on Tuesday at our Open House! It was such a joy to see all the smiles and energy as we get ready to launch into the 2025-2026 school year.

Thank you for taking the time to re-familiarize yourselves with our morning and updated afternoon routines. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as everyone settles in. Please keep in mind that during the first few days of school, dismissal may take a little longer in the parent pick-up line, and buses may be running a bit late as routes are learned.

I know that, together, we’re going to make this a fantastic year for our Comets!

Parent Drop-Off: Begins at 8:06AM

Drop off students at Door 10 (back parking lot entrance) off of Colonial Drive
Please be kind to our neighbors and do not block driveways
Stay in your vehicle at all times
Students exit through the right side passenger doors
Drop off begins at 8:06AM. Please be in line by 8:11AM. Any students entering after 8:21AM need to come through our main office
Do NOT park and walk students up from our back parking lot. This is a safety concern.

Parent Pick Up: Begins at 3:17PM

Pick up your students (all 4K-5th grade students) at Door 12 (playground entrance)
Car traffic enters westbound on Bayberry Circle and exits on Butternut Road using the north school entrance. A circle of cars will be formed. You must stay in your car to be in the traffic flow.

Please start a second line (inside the circle) once the first one is full so that you are not blocking the entrance or exit

Please be kind to our neighbors and do not block the driveways
Please always have your yellow car tags (see picture below) with your students first and last names displayed at all times on the passenger side. This should remain displayed until your students enter the car.

At 3:10PM, a staff member will start tracking cars in the traffic pattern. Students will be walked out in the order of car flow.
Please join our line by 3:21PM for pick up.
To ensure the safety of all in the student pick up line, students are expected to enter the vehicle on the right side of the car.
NEW: Parents should NOT park on the street and walk to pick up their children at the end of the day. This poses a safety concern.

Car traffic must join the pick up line to pick up your student. Please refrain from any foot traffic.
No parking on School Rd., Bayberry Ct., or Butternut Dr., for pick up.

Parent drop off ends by 3:30PM

4K Morning & Afternoon Drop Off

Please find a parking spot and walk your 4K student up to the front doors (off of Butternut Rd.).
Drop off for the 4K PM class starts at 12:26PM. You must park and walk your student into the front doors.

4K Morning Pick Up

Please park your car, gather your child from the front door of Butternut Road, and walk your child to your car.
4K AM pick up is at 11:06AM.

4K Afternoon Pick Up

Please see above in "Afternoon Dismissals" as all 4K-5th grade students are dismissed together.

Changing How Your Student(s) Get Home

To keep our dismissal safe and organized, parents should either fill out our Dismissal Change Google Form, email the office at CLoffice@gsdwi.org, or call the office at (262)-253-3465 whenever their student's end-of-day plans change. Please avoid emailing teachers directly, as they may have substitutes or may not see messages before dismissal. The office will ensure teachers are notified of any changes.
