Principal's Message
We have an exciting week ahead at Chatsworth Park! This Friday, October 23rd, from 5:00–7:00 PM, we will be hosting our annual Trunk or Treat event! Bring the whole family, dress up in your favorite costumes, and join us for an evening of candy, games, music, and fun! This is a free event for our Chatsworth Park community, and I hope to see everyone there. A special thank you to our PTA and all the volunteers who are helping make this event possible!
We will also hold our next School Site Council (SSC) meeting this Wednesday, October 21st, at 2:30 PM. During the meeting, we will review our finalized school budget and discuss how our resources will support our students and school priorities. Families are always welcome to attend and learn more about the decisions that impact our school.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together, we are making Chatsworth Park a wonderful place for our students to learn and grow!
Have a great week!
Building Closure Update
Your Voices Were Heard!
The Chatsworth Park Community Was Heard Loud and Clear!
During the 2025–2026 school year, Chatsworth Park staff and families came together to advocate for a safe school environment. Your voices were heard!
While we continue to await environmental testing results, State Assemblywoman Pilar Schiavo has pledged $5 million toward addressing the needs of our currently closed main building.
We were honored to have LAUSD Board President Scott Schmerelson and Region North Superintendent Dr. David Baca join our families to accept the ceremonial check on behalf of the Chatsworth Park community.
Thank you to everyone who advocated for our school last year. Your dedication and commitment to our students and school community have made a difference.
We will continue to share updates as more information becomes available.
