Dear HLA Families,

As the fall season begins, our school community is growing stronger each week. September was filled with energy, teamwork, and new initiatives and October promises even more exciting learning opportunities, community events, and celebrations.

As we begin this new month, our school-wide character focus will be on Responsibility. This core value encourages students to make positive choices, keep their commitments, and be accountable for their actions both inside and outside the classroom. Throughout October, teachers and students will explore what responsibility looks like in everyday life and practice it in meaningful ways.

By highlighting responsibility, we continue building a strong culture of character at Horizon Leadership Academy shaping not only students’ academic success, but also their growth as thoughtful and dependable young leaders.

We proudly announced our newly elected Student Council members. These leaders will represent their peers, organize activities, and help build school spirit throughout the year. Big congratulations to our 2025-2026 Student Council!

From inspiring speeches to casting votes, our students showed true leadership and school spirit.
