  1. As we approach the colder weather, please make sure your children are dressing appropriately for the weather. Kindergarten and 1st grade students-please make sure you child(ren) has a weather appropriate change of clothes in their backpack.
  2. Please remind your child(ren) that they should not share food and drink with friends or classmates, as we have many students with a variety of life threatening food allergies. If you have a child who has life threatening food allergies, please remind them of the importance not accepting/sharing food or drink from classmates or friends.
  3. We are seeing the return of contagious illnesses that we did not see during Covid. Please remind your child(ren) to cover their cough in their elbow and wash their hands frequently. As always, we ask that you keep your child(ren) home if they are sick.

Pick Up Patrol

We use Pick Up Patrol for a number of things here at school. It has replaced the need for parents to phone in absences, early dismissals, and/or changes in dismissal. It is truly helpful to us. Parents can make changes to their children’s status up until 1:30pm. At dismissal time the software becomes incredibly valuable to us to help make sure all the children are exactly where they're supposed to be. We are to count how many children to expect on each bus, as walkers and as car pick up we have each day. So, please, be sure that you have the app and are making changes when needed!
