Hendrickson High School
Message from Principal Grebb:
I hope everyone enjoys the upcoming three-day weekend—you’ve earned it! As of today, we’re just 40 days away from graduation.
Next week, students in Biology and U.S. History will take their STAAR EOC exams on Tuesday. Please remember to charge your devices, get a good night’s sleep, and come prepared to conquer another milestone on your path to graduation.
This time of year, it can be tempting to coast to the finish line—but don’t fall into that trap. Instead of simply surviving the day, show up ready to own it. Stay focused, stay driven, and make the most of every opportunity these final weeks offer.
Take some time to rest this weekend—we’ve got 40 days left, and we’re going to make them count!

The Anonymous Alerts is an anti-bullying and safety app reporting system that helps combat bullying and other negative activity in schools by empowering students to speak up. Social and peer pressure are some of the hardest obstacles for students to overcome. Students or parents can submit reports such as bullying, cyber bullying, depression, dating violence, drug or alcohol use, threats against the school, weapons on campus, and more.
The system allows for 1-way or 2-way anonymous encrypted communications between the submitters (students, parents, or community members) and District administration and/or school staff. Users of the system have the option to remain anonymous or reveal their identity when submitting a report.

Band Rocks UIL
For the second year in a row, the Hawk Band was the ONLY high school in all of Region 26 (which also includes Round Rock, McNeil, Cedar Ridge HS, etc.) where every single Varsity, Non-Varsity, and Sub Non-Varsity Band earned straight Superior Division Ratings from every single judge.
Our third band also played a Grade 4 (difficult/college level) piece of literature at UIL for the first time since 2017 (When Hendrickson had 6 Bands) and was the only Sub Non-Varsity Band (third band) at the entire contest to earn a Superior Rating from every single judge.

Parents of 11th Graders (Please Read)
We are changing photo companies for senior portraits and underclassmen pictures next year to Photo Texas. This change will include on campus senior portraits during the school day next fall. If you want to schedule an appointment at the studio, you can. Information will be coming soon about that. Our former company, Cady, has been sending out info about scheduling senior portraits. You do not need to schedule with them unless you want to use them for personal portraits. Sorry for any confusion on that.
