2025 Lucky Dawg Gala Recap

Dear GWA Community,

What an unforgettable night! The 2025 Lucky Dawg Gala was a tremendous success, raising an incredible $260,000 in support of George Walton Academy. Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, we continue to strengthen the GWA experience for our students.

Auction Highlights:
Our silent and live auctions were filled with incredible items, and our grade projects once again stole the show! The hard work and creativity behind these projects made them true crowd favorites, and we are so grateful for everyone who contributed.

Fund-A-Need Success:
One of the most inspiring moments of the evening was our Fund-A-Need portion, which raised an astounding $139,000! A heartfelt thank you to John Petrini for creating a powerful video that truly captured the importance of this initiative and helped drive such a meaningful impact.

An event of this magnitude is only possible with the dedication and hard work of so many. We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to:

• Our incredible volunteers and staff who put in countless hours to make the night seamless.

• John Petrini for his outstanding work in creating the Fund-A-Need video.

• Everyone who contributed an auction item, helping us offer an exciting selection of items.

• Our contributing parents, room moms, and grade moms for their tireless dedication to the always-impressive grade projects.

• DJ John Klubenspies for keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed!

• All the families, friends of GWA, and alumni who attended, bid, and supported this event – your generosity and enthusiasm made the night truly special.

Thank you for making this year’s Lucky Dawg Gala one for the books! Your support ensures that GWA continues to provide exceptional opportunities for our students today and for years to come.

With gratitude,
