Thank you to our GRE families for your contributions to the Adopt a Family Opportunity this year! We are so appreciative of your generosity and support! We are excited to incorporate this opportunity of giving back with our students.

Students have been excited to send and receive kindness letters this week through the Kindness Post Office! The Post Office remains open through December 17. Students can write letters, stamp them, and send them to other students and staff in our building.

● Black-and-white stamps cost $0.25 per row

● Colored stamps cost $0.50 per row

Each year, the Kindness Post Office donates its proceeds to an organization in need. This year, all funds raised will go to One Dublin to support families in our community during the holiday season. Thank you for helping us support kindness in our school and care for families in our community!

Third grade students participated in the Ohio State English Language Arts Grade 3 assessment earlier this year. This state mandated assessment measures end of year expectations. Third grade students will take the Gr 3 ELA OST again in April. The results can now be found in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. This resource provides additional information about Ohio State Tests and how to interpret the data displayed in Infinite Campus. Directions on how to find the results in Infinite Campus are linked in the resource above.

Additional information regarding these results and the OST Family Report will be shared during winter conferences. Please reach out to your classroom teacher if you have any questions.

Eager Engineers Class Just Added for GRE Students

By popular demand, Eager Engineers has just added a class on Tuesdays at Glacier Ridge. Don’t miss out on some exciting after school enrichment opportunities for your student. We are happy to collaborate with a variety of local organizations to bring families after school enrichment opportunities for students! Other partner organizations include Cultured Kids French & Spanish Clubs, Drama Kids, Eager Artists, Future Fashion Stars, Korea Taekwondo, Robot Academy, and Young Rembrandts. Explore the After School Activities page to register for Eager Engineers and to discover other programs your child will love.

Tiger Trunk Winter Workshop: Kids can shop for everyone on their shopping list. Items available include candles, hydrating face masks, golf accessories, mini tool kits, sports memorabilia, self care products, tumblers, and much more! It will be open on Fridays at lunch starting on December 5 and includes free gift wrapping.

Dublin Food Pantry Pop In Fresh Produce Market

The Dublin Food Pantry is holding a “Pop In” Fresh Produce Market on Thursday, Dec. 18, 4-5:30 p.m., at the Dublin Food Pantry, 6608 Dublin Center Dr. Dublin OH 43017. We will be serving a variety of fruits and vegetables free of charge. We will also have dry goods available, along with breakfast packs and personal hygiene packets for the holiday break. No formal registration is required. This event is a partnership among the Dublin Methodist Hospital Family Medicine Residency Clinic, Dublin City Schools, and the Dublin Food Pantry.

Holiday Hotcakes at Tolles

Tolles Career & Technical Center is hosting their annual “Holiday Hotcakes,” Saturday, Dec. 13, 9-11 a.m., featuring pancakes, juice, milk, visits and photos with Santa, a petting zoo, crafts and more! The free event is open to everyone…attendees are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy to support Toys for Tots. Learn more here.

Help us Sleigh the Fill-A-Cruiser Toy Drive

This is a final reminder to join us Saturday, Dec. 13 for our Fill-A-Cruiser Toy Drive with Dublin Police and Get Behind The Badge. They will collect new, unwrapped toys or gift cards from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dublin Justice Center.
