Peterborough Elementary School

Dear PES Families,

It was wonderful seeing so many families at our Celebration of Learning! Thank you to everyone who was able to join us. Walking around and seeing all of the hard work our students have put in this year was so rewarding! I loved watching first graders make a carrot salad with Cornucopia, second graders demonstrate pollination, students guessing which childhood picture belonged to their teacher, and, of course, the excitement when Bobby showed up! This morning, we revealed the matching photos—we even had one family guess 23 correctly! Also, a huge thank you to Nycki McTague for supplying us with our balloon arch; it made for a great photo op for families!

Finally, don't forget that tomorrow, Saturday, May 16, is the Children and the Arts parade—see below for more details! The parade starts at 12:00, so please make sure you are at PES by 11:45! Students were sent home with yellow hats from the PTO. We are encouraging them to wear blue shirts with them. We hope you can join us!

Enjoy the weekend,

Tammy
