FebruaryNewsletter πŸ’•February 3rd, 2025

Hello Amazing Families,

I cannot believe this year is already half way through. Our students are achieving their goals and the growth overall at Seltice this year has been substantial. Thank you for those who continue to get your kiddos to school each and everyday. We understand there are illnesses that keep students at home at times. Their daily attendance is an impactful indicator of success. Please reach out if there are factors that are keeping your student home that we can help support you with.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Our Tribe continues to get stronger, together. πŸ’œ

Introducing our SELTICE CHIEF SUPERSTORE. We love to celebrate students and all their achievements. Our main goal is to emphasize working hard, preserving, and taking responsibility for their learning EACH AND EVERYDAY. We'd also like to give them the opportunity to earn some small prizes.

Students received raffle tickets for their accomplishments and could win a chance to pick something from the 'store'. We also have some fun competition between grade levels. 2nd and 4th grade won our first round and earned a small treat and an extra recess for their hard work in the 1st Semester.

Parents/Guardians,

In order to make certain all our students receive appropriate educational support, Post Falls School District 273 conducts a mid-year residency verification. Residency is defined as where your family sleeps at night. Has your residency changed since September 3, 2024?

If so AND if any of the following statements are true for your family, please contact your school counselor or the Post Falls School District McKinney-Vento Liaison, Janelle Baker, at 208-773-0581 or janelle.baker@sd273.com for more information about educational services that may be available to your student(s) and family.
