We have an exciting week ahead at TDA — full of celebration, connection, and Puma pride!
We’re thrilled to announce our Semester 1 Top 10 Academic Students for the Sophomore, Junior, and Senior classes. These students have shown outstanding dedication and academic excellence.
Our Freshman Top 10 will be recognized next semester once their first high school semester grades are finalized in January.
To celebrate these achievements, we’ll honor our Top 10 students on the field during our home Flag Football Game on Thursday, November 13th, with presentations beginning around 6:00 PM. We encourage the entire TDA community to come out, cheer on our athletes, and celebrate our academic superstars! That same evening, our Puma Wrestling Team will also compete at home — making it a night packed with school spirit and celebration!

Here’s a look at the exciting events happening throughout the week:
🐾 All week we will administer the WIDA Model Mock Access Test. This is a time for our English Language Learners to practice testing before the official ACCESS Exam.

🎉 Wednesday: We’ll have a Fall and Winter Sports Pep Rally! Get ready to stomp, shout, and show your Puma pride as we recognize our athletes and performers.

☕ Thursday Morning: We invite families to join us for a Parent Roundtable Discussion on family engagement and communication from 7:30–8:30 AM in Mrs. Holverson’s room. Your voice and ideas will help strengthen our school–home partnership! RSVP to: lauren.holverson@dalton.k12.ga.us
