Activity Passes 2026-2027

There are seven types of activity passes that are utilized by the Fargo Public Schools. All passes are good for regular season games or activities, but do not include tournaments or play-offs.

Employee Pass – This is the utilization of the employee badge and it will be displayed to the ticket taker or supervisor by the employee and will cover the employee and a guest.

Senior Citizen Pass – This type of pass is secured through the District Office at 700 7th Street South at the Main Reception desk. It is for citizens that are 65 or older and residents of Fargo. It entitles the bearer to any regular season athletic activity as well as fine arts performances when displayed to the ticket taker or supervisor.

Restricted Partnership Pass – This type of pass is purchased through the District Office at 700 7th Street South at either the Superintendent desk or at the Main Reception desk. It is for church or other youth related organizations (an information card will be requested at the time of purchase). This pass is not sold to an individual, but rather to the youth-related organization and will be limited to four passes per organization.

Adult Yearly Pass – This type of pass is offered online and kept digitally via the GoFan App. This will cover admission to all regular season district high school activity events.

Student Activity Pass/Card – This type of pass is secured through the building office at the high schools. This will cover admission to all regular season district high school activity events.

Parents and other Community members – A season discount card/pass that will allow admission into 5 or 10 activities based on the type of card that is purchased. This type of pass is offered online and kept digitally via the GoFan App. (You should NOT buy the 5-event punch card if you only intend to use it for middle school games! The punch cards were written with high school games in mind - where gate admission is typically $10.)

Elementary Student Pass – This pass allows an elementary student to attend an athletic event at the high school they would attend. This type of pass is offered online and kept digitally via the GoFan App.

School Pay School Pay

Families use School Pay to pay for school meals and fees. However, School Pay will not be available through Campus Parent as it used to be via PowerSchool. Due to this change, all families will need to establish a new School Pay account.

To create your parent account for SchoolPay:

  1. Go to schoolpay.com

  2. Click “Find my Account”

  3. Enter your email address (the email address you have stored on file with your child’s student record). If a matching email address is found, you will be led through a process to create your account.

Once you have created your account, you can set up a credit card, make fee payments, and set up meal payments for your student(s). SchoolPay can be accessed at any time by going to https://schoolpay.com.

PLEASE NOTE: SchoolPay is experiencing connection issues this week, and many parents have found that they can log into SchoolPay, but the webpage doesn’t completely load and they can’t see school fees to select and pay. SchoolPay has been alerted to this problem and is investigating.

EMAIL COMPLICATION: SchoolPay has reported to Fargo Public Schools that they are having a problem sending emails to individuals with hotmail.com, outlook.com, msn.com, or live.com personal email addresses. Because of this, many of our parents trying to get connected to their SchoolPay account by going to schoolpay.com and clicking Find my Account are finding they are not receiving the necessary email from SchoolPay they need to set their password. SchoolPay apologizes for this issue.

To ensure all parents have the opportunity to get connected to SchoolPay, they suggest that parents who try Find my Account and don’t receive an email call their support number, and a support technician can set a password for them. The SchoolPay support number is 833-731-2600. In their calling system, after selecting a language for the call, choose option 3 to Create an Account, and then option 2 to speak with a representative.

Student Information Student Information

BACKPACKS

Students will be allowed to use backpacks to carry books between school and home, but the backpack must be left in the student’s locker during the school day.

ID CARDS

Students will receive their ID card a couple weeks after school picture days. The card is coded with an identification number for each student. Displaying your ID at all times is not required. Students who purchased a high school season pass will receive an activity pass ID card to get into FPS high school sporting events. Replacement cost for an ID is $5 in the main office. ID cards will be used to pay for student meals/extras, check out books from the library, school parties, for school bus identification as a FPS student, and for season pass to FPS activities if purchased by parent/guardian. The student ID will display an “A” on the card if a $30 fee is paid. Activity pass cards will be available early to allow entrance into sporting events.

LOCKER LOCK

Each student will be provided with a padlock for his/her locker(s). These lockers are for individual use only and may not be shared with another student. Locks have individual combinations and should be kept confidential. If the padlock does not open or close properly, your child should bring it to the office for a replacement. The replacement charge for a lost padlock is $10. Students must use school locks.

CELL PHONES - Policy

Per FPS Administrative Policy 4263 Personal Electronic Communication Device Use, Students will not be permitted to use or access personal devices — such as cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, or personal tablets or computers — during the school day. Devices must be turned off or silenced and securely stored in lockers. This means, students are not allowed to carry their personal electronic device with them throughout the school day.

This policy supports a learning environment free from distractions and promotes student well-being, safety, and academic engagement. It reflects both the expectations of state law and the commitment of Fargo Public Schools to maintain a positive, focused school culture. The policy includes clearly defined enforcement steps and limited exemptions for medical or educational needs. Use before and after the school day and at certain extracurricular activities remains allowed.

Fargo Public School District is not responsible for lost or damaged student devices. All students are expected to keep their electronic devices in their lockers throughout the school day.

Please review the full policy and the FAQs included below for details on the policy, what is and isn’t allowed, and how enforcement will work.

Thank you for your leadership in helping students adjust to this change and for everything you do to support a positive school culture. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your building administrator or the District Office with any questions.

Here Comes the Bus App

Fargo Public Schools uses the Here Comes the Bus app to help families track their students who ride the bus. This free app provides real-time notifications when your child boards or disembarks the bus, ensuring you always know their travel status. FPS strongly encourages all parents to download the app and set up notifications for added peace of mind. To set up Here Comes the Bus on your phone, click these instructions.

Students in grades K-5 who ride the bus will receive a bar-coded card that will be attached to their backpack and students in grades 6-12 will use a student ID card or input their lunch number on a bus keypad. Students need to scan their card each time they get on and off the bus. This scanning process allows FPS to confirm, in real-time, that the student is safely on the bus or has exited at the correct stop. This extra step is a critical part of ensuring the safety of all students.

Attendance Attendance

Regular attendance is an important piece of succeeding in school. Students are expected to be in their classes every day, except in the case of illness, school related activities, family emergency, or religious observance. It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that their children are in school unless a valid reason for absence exists. The Attendance Office asks that a student’s absence be reported by 9:00 a.m. If a student is not accounted for they will be recorded as truant. Please review the attendance policies found in our on-line student handbook.

The Attendance Office may be reached by calling, texting, or emailing using the information below:

Entrance to the Building During School Hours Entrance to the Building During School Hours

Fargo Public Schools use a visitor management system in all of our schools to strengthen our program of campus safety for students and staff. Part of keeping students and staff safe is knowing who is in our buildings at all times, and this system will allow us to do so. This system will allow us to better screen visitors, contractors, and volunteers in our schools to provide us with a safe environment for our students and staff.

Upon entering the school building, visitors will be asked to present an ID, such as a Driver’s License, which can either be scanned or manually entered into the system. If a parent or guardian for any reason does not have a US government-issued ID, the school staff member can use any form of identification and manually enter the person’s name into the system. Once entry into the building is approved, the system will issue a badge that identifies the visitor, the date, and the purpose of their visit. A visitor’s badge will not be necessary for those who visit our schools simply to drop off an item in the office or pick up paperwork.
