SSD Accommodations
SSD Accommodations for AP Testing - Do I have them?
College Board Testing Accommodations: What You Need to Know
If you are planning to request testing accommodations for upcoming College Board exams, please review the following guidelines regarding the application and approval process:
Application Process: All accommodation requests must be submitted through your school counselor using the College Board's SSD Online portal.
Approval is Not Guaranteed: Having accommodations listed on a student's 504 plan or IEP does not automatically guarantee that the College Board will approve them. The College Board's SSD office must independently review and approve all requests before a student can test with accommodations.
Important Deadlines: The deadline to apply for SSD accommodations is typically the second week of January (for reference, last year’s deadline was January 22, 2027). Once submitted by the counselor, there is a waiting period while the College Board reviews the application.
Checking Your Status: Students can view their approved accommodations directly in their personal College Board accounts, or they can check with their school counselor.
