Welcome to the 2026-27 School Year

Advanced Placement exams will take place May 3 - May 14, 2027. By taking these exams, students enrolled in AP courses have the opportunity to potentially earn college credit, as well as further develop strong academic skills.

Exam Registration is completed using MY SCHOOLBUCKS account, associated with each WCSD student. Registration, with full payment of $99 per exam, is due by Friday, October 30, 2026. Any exam ordered AFTER October 30, 2026 will incur an additional non-refundable $40 fee from College Board, making the total cost $139.

*A reduced exam fee of $10 is available to families who apply and qualify for free and reduced lunch, and order by October 30, 2026. Applications for the free and reduced lunch are submitted through your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. (Food Service Link)*

IF YOU FEEL YOU WILL NEED THIS REDUCTION, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO COMPLETE THIS BEFORE REGISTERING AND PAYING FOR AP EXAMS

College Board places a $40 fee on canceled exams, so if you should change your mind about taking it after the final order is placed in November, you will only receive a $58 refund.

SSD Accommodations for AP Testing - Do I have them?

College Board Testing Accommodations: What You Need to Know

If you are planning to request testing accommodations for upcoming College Board exams, please review the following guidelines regarding the application and approval process:

  • Application Process: All accommodation requests must be submitted through your school counselor using the College Board's SSD Online portal.

  • Approval is Not Guaranteed: Having accommodations listed on a student's 504 plan or IEP does not automatically guarantee that the College Board will approve them. The College Board's SSD office must independently review and approve all requests before a student can test with accommodations.

  • Important Deadlines: The deadline to apply for SSD accommodations is typically the second week of January (for reference, last year’s deadline was January 22, 2027). Once submitted by the counselor, there is a waiting period while the College Board reviews the application.

  • Checking Your Status: Students can view their approved accommodations directly in their personal College Board accounts, or they can check with their school counselor.

Account Access: Please note that the school has no affiliation with, or access to, a student's personal College Board account.
