What's Happening in PE
Our K–2 students have been moving, creating, and skipping their way through stations! Along with practicing different physical skills, they’re learning how to share equipment, solve problems, create their own ways to play, move safely, work together, and clean up after each other. Lots of movement, creativity, teamwork, and FUN happening in the gym!
Our 3rd–5th graders have taken PE outside and have been hitting the turf for some running! The energy has been AMAZING! Students have been cheering each other on, encouraging their classmates, and working hard toward their own goals. The positive vibes out there have been so much fun to see. Way to go, Tremont! 🦁💪
Help the City Name our Leaf Blowers and Snowplows
Hello, Upper Arlington Families!
In collaboration with the City of Upper Arlington, we’re inviting you to help us bring a little extra fun to our fall and winter seasons by naming our city’s leaf blowers and snowplows! 🍂❄️
Do you have a clever or creative name in mind? We want to hear it! Share your ideas and help us give these hardworking pieces of city equipment some personality.
The survey will be open through October 16, 2026. Winning names will be selected, and families whose entries are chosen will receive an email notification.
Let’s show off our Upper Arlington creativity and give our leaf blowers and snowplows names worth cheering for!
Go Bears!
Bus Transportation Reminders
As a reminder, students may only ride the bus to which they are assigned. Students are not permitted to ride home on another student’s bus for playdates, after-school activities, or other arrangements.
This week, our Transportation Department will be conducting AM and PM student counts, so it is especially important that students ride their assigned buses.
Previously established transportation arrangements, such as a regular bus stop for a sitter that has been scheduled since the beginning of the year, may continue as usual.
Thank you for helping us keep our transportation procedures safe and organized!
Early Release-Thursday, October 22nd-11am
Please note there is a misprint on the Nutritional Services Lunch Menu for October. There will be no lunch service on Thursday, October 22nd, due to early release.
There will also be NO SACC for the early release on the 22nd as well.
Donate a Costume-October 1 through 9th at Tremont
Upper Arlington Public Library and Sustainable Upper Arlington are teaming up for this year’s free costume swap! From Thursday, October 1 through Friday, October 9, drop off your gently used Halloween costumes at the collection bin near the school entrance or in the Youth Department at Upper Arlington Public Library (Tremont Road). All costume sizes and accessories are welcome!
Then, on Sunday, October 11 from 1:00–3:30 p.m., join us at Upper Arlington Public Library (Tremont Road) for a free costume shopping event, where kids can choose a new-to-them costume for this year. Help us give costumes a second life, reduce waste, and make Halloween more sustainable and fun! We hope to see you there!
Help us Honor Veterans
As we approach Veterans' Day, we want to honor the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. If you have a veteran in your life—whether a family member, friend, or loved one—we invite you to share their story with us.
Please use this form to submit a short description about your veteran, with their name, branch of service, and the name of who they are related to at Tremont. Please upload a photo of your veteran so we can include it in our memorial slide show.
If able, your veteran is invited to join us for our Mane Event on November 5th at 9am and a reception afterwards.
All submissions will be included in our Veterans' Day recognition efforts to help our community remember and honor the service and sacrifice of our heroes.
Submissions are due by October 22nd
Thank you for helping us pay tribute to those who have served!
