Principal's Message
Hi Memorial Families,
In two weeks we have had some of the most eventful and impactful things occur at our schools that brought in many families. From our Spooktacular Literacy Night led by Ms. Mason and Mrs. Southam, to the more recent Veterans Day Program led by Mr. Gonda and the wonderful 4th graders. I couldn't help but make a connect to the fact that some families shared with me that at the same time, families were commenting on social media how amazing our school is. Its events and moments like the ones shared above that make Memorial Elementary School Amazing. Continue to share and shout out the amazing work our Students and Staff are doing together. I am proud to be a part of the Memorial and Brunswick community.

Happy National School Psychology Week
We are incredibly lucky to have Brittany Nelson as our amazing school psychologist! She does so much more than organize meetings for special education services. Miss Nelson also serves as our MTSS Coordinator, where she reviews reading and math data points for all students and works collaboratively with all educators to ensure every child gets exactly what they need to grow and succeed. Thank you, Miss Nelson, for all that you do!
Special shout out to our School Psychology Intern, Lacie Costello. You may have seen her informing families about DIBELS Progress Monitoring and how to support their child with appropriate resources for reading instruction. Other times she is working with Miss Nelson and our students. Good luck on your journey, Miss Costello. When you see her, share some encouragement.
